Long Burning Fire Log
The PowerLogs offer complete combustion leaving behind a small amount of fine ash
with no clinkers. Many of our customers applaud the fact that the PowerLogs continue to
radiate heat through the night & in most cases offer glowing red coals in the morning to
start another fire. During the manufacturing process the PowerLogs are heated in excess of
150 degrees Celsius which most certainly eliminates any possibility of bugs or funguses commonly
found in cord wood.
The PowerLogs can be safely stored inside your home. The PowerLogs take
up far less space than the equivalent amount of cord wood to produce the same heat output
Humidity is not absorbed by the PowerLogs but they must be protected from direct
contact with moisture.
The PowerLogs are 4 inches in diameter, 10 inches log and weigh
about 4 ˝ pounds. When the PowerLogs
are burned they do not expand like some densified sawdust logs
which are not near as tightly compressed.
When tested by Omni Laboratories the PowerLog was noted to contain 8,644 BTU’s of heat per pound!
A single 4 ˝ pound PowerLog contains almost 39,000 BTU’s of heat. This is more heat per pound than
any cord wood and even lignite coal.
